Andrews, 31, made 76 appearances and scored five goals in 3 1/2 seasons with Blackburn. He has played 26 times for Ireland on the international level.

West Bromwich also acquired defender Liam Ridgewell from Birmingham City and signed the 27-year-old to a 2 1/2-year contract.
